Which part of your thinking have you stopped training?
THE DECISION CODE is out. Kindle, audiobook, paperback and hardback.
Watch, two and a half minutes
When Certainty Becomes a Leadership Liability
You train your body, or you have at least felt guilty about not training it 🙂 You train your team. Good. But has anybody told you that your brain, making all your decisions, is also trainable?
Thirty years of research went into one claim: your capacity to decide rests on two capacities, and they multiply rather than add. Consciousness, which is how much of the situation you can actually observe, including yourself in it. Plasticity, which is whether you can still change once you have observed it.
High consciousness with no plasticity is a leader who understands exactly why they keep doing the same thing. High plasticity with no consciousness is a leader who changes constantly in the wrong direction. If either one is near zero, so is your decision capacity.

The book gives you a benchmark for both and a ninety-day protocol for raising them. It also helps you name your own collapse signature. Collapse is what happens when pressure quietly narrows the range of options your brain will even consider, and it never feels like narrowing. It feels like clarity.
Your signature is the particular shape yours takes, and the tell that lets you catch it while it is happening rather than in the postmortem.
THE DECISION CODE also offers something no previous book of mine could: how to keep artificial intelligence as a mirror that hands the decision back, rather than an oracle that quietly keeps it.
But a book may not be enough to train your decision capacity.
THE DECISION CODE can show you the model and hand you the measurements. Training is a different thing, and it takes structure, hours, and someone marking your work. That is what I built at Johns Hopkins.
It is a certificate I produced and is accredited and distributed by Johns Hopkins University through Johns Hopkins Lifelong Learning, affiliated with the Whiting School of Engineering, and it exists nowhere else. The three courses map onto the central tenets of THE DECISION CODE. They do not cover everything in it, and they are not meant to. What they do is turn the parts that are trainable into something you actually practice.

A Johns Hopkins Certificate
Your Leadership Potential Powered by AI
60 hours · 6 CEUs · self-paced, start anytime
Three courses in sequence. Your Consciousness is where you learn to detect collapse and widen the view before you commit. Your Plasticity is the training itself: how to interrupt an automatic reaction and build a deliberate one. Your Personality surfaces the decision patterns and biases running underneath your choices.
It is built on my OPEN Neurospiritual Framework, which joins two halves that usually get kept apart. The neuro half is the measurable one: what your brain is doing when you decide, and how to train it. The spiritual half is your capacity to rise above primal, reactive awareness to a higher vantage point. That is not decoration. It is the part that lifts both currencies at once, because from up there you observe more of the situation, and you are less bound to your automatic answer to it.
Along the way you learn to build your own Personalized Leadership Potential GPT, trained on your results rather than on the average of the internet.
$1,240
For the full certificate, all three courses. Sixty hours spent on the one skill every other skill rests on, and a Johns Hopkins credential for your LinkedIn profile is not a bad souvenir either.
Prefer to take one at a time? Each runs about thirty hours, self-paced, 2 CEUs, $500 each.

$500·Levels of awareness, detecting collapse, artificial intelligence as a mirror.

$500·Rewiring habits through neuroplasticity.

$500·Unconscious patterns, bias, and decision styles.

Thirty years to write the book. Rather longer than I intended. Then again, I was busy making most of the mistakes in it.
